I have recently seen an increase in bot scanning looking for WordPress exploits on this site. The bots will not find anything. While WordPress may power over 40% of websites globally, this website is not one of them. I migrated all of my websites from WordPress to Grav a while back. While WordPress is very popular and has a wide selection of plugins, it required too much resources (both compute and time) for it to be a viable publishing platform for my sites. I was continually spending more and more time updating to stay ahead of the exploits. I guess the increase in scanning indicates that this is an issue for others as well. I am still experimenting with how to handle the traffic. Some requests might be redirected, while others will get dropped. Oh well, I guess that is part of hosting a site on the internet. So if you turned up here because your bot gave you hit on a WordPress exploit, sorry mate, no WordPress here.
